  • Swale Park Project

    Saturday the 11th May was consultation day at Swale Park in Whitstable, Kent. I met some residents and we discussed my ideas for the green space at the centre of the estate.

    Everyone agreed that the 'swamp' area needs sorting out and that fruit trees would be a welcome addition.

    We tested the Ph value of the soil so that we know what trees will like it there and in-between the rainstorms managed to build a few Flat-Pack sculptures.

    I will develop my ideas further over the next few weeks...

  • Happy Birthday FACT

    Join FACT in celebrating 10 years since the FACT building opened on Wood Street in Liverpool with a family fun day full of party games, birthday cake and arty activities throughout the building.

    The birthday events coincide with the last chance to play Noisy Table at FACT. The day is host to the final match of our Battle of the Bands ping pong tournament which has seen bands like Afternaut and All We Are compete for the table tennis crown. Liverpool music legends Clinic return to DJ and are premiering a new song using sounds recorded during the tournament.

    There will be loads of other stuff going on so check out FACT this weekend

  • FACT ping pong challenge

    Interactive artwork Noisy Table, arrives in FACT on December 6; and who better to test it out than some of the Liverpool's best-loved bands?

    As part of a special opening event, FACT will be launching Noisy Table with the start of a ping pong challenge with some of the most exciting names on Liverpool's music scene, including Clinic, Loved Ones, Afternaut, Organ Freeman, All We Are, Alpha Male Tea Party, Ninetails and Dogshow, in association with Bido Lito! Magazine.

    Clinic will take on Loved Ones for the first match of the tournament at 6pm on Thursday, December 6, before hanging around for a DJ set. Afternaut will perform live, and all bands involved in the ping pong challenge will be taking part in a round robin match.
