Office Figures
I have a new commission for an office in Brighton, the work will consist of multiple figure outlines collected from the people who work in the office and other international company offices. This project is due for completion in Spring 2012
LV21 Residency Evaluation
Figure Ground have compiled an evaluation of the LV21 project. They chose 20 artists (including myself) to explore a decommissioned Lightship on the Kent coast. Thanks to funding from Arts Council England, the artists had the opportunity to create exciting and innovative work in response to the space which was then opened up for a public open day. Elevation
Elevation is a 12m wide x 4m high stainless steel portrait of the community who work in and live around the Wartling Road community centre. It consists of 50 figure outlines, many of which appear to be defying gravity, literally elevating. The figures were collected in July 2010 and installed in May 2011. Elevation was opened by the Deputy Mayor of Eastbourne in September 2011. Click here for more information and images.
